Chivas Brothers had created what was to become the world's leading premium Scotch Chivas - Chivas Regal.
The first was exported to United States in 1909, and is still at the very forefront of the Chivas Brother's brand portfolio.
In 1949 Chivas Brothers was acquired by Seagram Distillers Plc.
Glen Grant whisky had long been used for blending into Chivas Regal.
To back up Seagram's promotion they have spent hundreds of thousands of pounds turning Strathisla distillery into their flagship visitors' centre for their Chivas Regal blend while essentially retaining the quiet individuality of its elegant bildings.
Another Seagram distillery Allt-a-Bhainne built in 1975 solely to give malt for the company's blends including Chivas Regal.

Chivas Regal contains around 40 percent malt from where it's including 4 percent Strathisla also owned by Chivas.

We have a bottle of Royal Salute 21yr old blended Scotch Whisky ...Nr 2506460...Aberdeen, scotland. its in a Dark Blue Ceramic Flagon by Wade of England ( IF LF printed undr the bottle) . Can you please tell me the value of the bottle. It still has the original seal on the bottle.

i found a old Chivas bottle that says chivas regal liquor bottle scotland and stumped 1801 estd . and its got a number on it under the bottle 14.and 1L something 64mm.

I have an old bottle of chivas regal it was purchase around 1980, it has never been opened. I was wondering how much it would be worth and if you could tell me exactly how old it is. Here are some numbers from the bottle C.T.G. 9 19, C2, 8006, CR-SF-ST. Bottom of box is 6500059. It has a scan bar and that number is 8700000409. Thank you for whatever help you can give me.

Hi there, i am from Bloemfontein South Africa and have two botles of royal salute 21 year old. The older brown botle serial: S779271 i recieved in 1981 Then a burgandy coloured botle serial: Y741125 i recieved in 1985 Both botles stil in original velvet bags and sealed.
